As things tend to go, the minor remodel I started last month on my new shop space that I thought would take a couple weeks is still not quite completed. Something to do with the rest of my life also having to be attended to. And the fact that not everyone’s schedule revolves around mine. Hard to believe, huh?But it is happening and I see it all coming together in such a pretty way. The entire front wall of the new shop is all windows so the light is so great and the new coat of paint on the walls is brightening things up even more. Perfect lighting for art and other handcrafted wares. The newly exposed concrete floor has a rustic patina that I’m decorating with Caribbean blue stenciled tiles. And as you can see from the photo above, I have a shiny new sign that will hang outside above the door.
Having such a great new space to work with has me excited about possibilities… what can I do with 1000 square feet?! I’ll have more to share on that front in the months to come, but for now I need to keep my head down and get this remodel done!
One way or another I’m opening doors on Friday, March 24th at 11am. 2409 E. Empire St. Cortez, CO. Same building but now you can use the front door. Please come pay a visit!
